Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

EasyTLDs provides:

• Domain price comparison: registration, renewal, transfer and longer-term cost information collected from registrars and other sources
• Domain monitoring: uptime, SSL/TLS, DNS, WHOIS/RDAP, port, ping, HTTP content and synthetic checks
• Incidents and communication: alerts, escalation policies, maintenance windows, public status pages and customer updates
• Reports and tools: SLA and uptime reports, WHOIS lookup, search, price alerts and related domain-management information

2. Accounts

2.1 Registration and security

You may register with an email address and password or an available OAuth provider. Information supplied by you must be accurate. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, recovery codes and sessions and for activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

2.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to accept these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2.3 Suspension and termination

You may delete your account through the available account controls. We may limit, suspend or terminate access when an account violates these Terms, threatens the Service or other users, or must be restricted for legal or security reasons.

3. Availability and Fair Use

Domain monitoring is available without product tiers or a domain quota. All monitoring capabilities are available to every account.

We apply technical safeguards such as minimum check intervals, request-size limits, rate limits and generous configuration maximums to prevent accidental overload and protect reliable use for everyone. We may temporarily throttle abusive or unusually disruptive activity.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Monitor systems without the right or authorization to do so
• Probe, overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service or connected infrastructure
• Circumvent authentication, rate limits, fair-use safeguards or other access controls
• Use automated registrations, spam, malicious code or unlawful content
• Bulk-copy or redistribute EasyTLDs data to operate a competing service without permission
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or publish misleading status information
• Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights

We may throttle or block activity and remove content where reasonably necessary to protect the Service.

5. Domain Price Data and Affiliate Links

5.1 Accuracy

Prices are collected through registrar websites, feeds, APIs and scraper nodes. Promotions, eligibility rules, currencies, taxes and checkout fees can change without notice. We do not guarantee that every price is current, complete or available to every customer. Always verify the final regular, promotional, renewal and transfer price at the registrar before purchasing.

5.2 Affiliate relationships

Some outbound links are affiliate links. EasyTLDs may receive a commission after a qualifying purchase without increasing your price. Affiliate participation does not change price-based sorting or constitute an endorsement.

5.3 Third-party services

Registrar names and trademarks belong to their owners. Their products, availability, terms, privacy practices and customer support are outside our control.

6. Domain Monitoring

6.1 Scope and authorization

Checks run from EasyTLDs infrastructure or authorized monitoring nodes at configured intervals. You must ensure that your targets and use of monitoring comply with law, provider rules and your authorization.

6.2 No monitoring guarantee

Monitoring, incident correlation, screenshots, reports and alerts are informational. Checks can be delayed, missed or affected by maintenance, network conditions, target behavior or third-party outages. EasyTLDs must not be the sole safeguard for mission-critical systems.

6.3 Notifications and integrations

Email, Slack, Telegram and webhook delivery depends on third-party systems and the configuration you provide. You are responsible for keeping destinations current and protecting webhook secrets. Test alerts do not guarantee future delivery.

7. Public Status Pages and Shared Reports

Content published through a public status page, custom domain or share link is accessible to anyone who can reach it. You are responsible for titles, incident updates, branding and other published content. We may remove illegal, abusive, deceptive or rights-infringing content.

8. Intellectual Property

The EasyTLDs name, logo, software, design and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Registrar names and third-party material remain the property of their owners.

You may link to public EasyTLDs pages and use supported status badges. You may not frame, mirror, reverse engineer or reproduce a substantial part of the Service except where applicable law permits it or we have agreed in writing.

9. Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, discontinue or add features and may perform maintenance. We aim to preserve existing public URLs and account data but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular feature indefinitely.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

EasyTLDs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for losses caused by inaccurate prices, missed alerts, unavailable checks, external registrars or third-party integrations. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims related to the Service is limited to USD 100. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EasyTLDs and its operators from third-party claims, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content or your violation of these Terms.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process and protect personal data and forms part of your use of the Service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes affecting registered users, we will provide reasonable notice through email or the Service before the changes take effect where practicable. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will resolve disputes.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
