Uptime monitoring checks whether your website is reachable and responding correctly. EasyTLDs sends HTTP requests to your domain at regular intervals and records the result.
How to enable
- Go to your domain's Settings → Uptime Monitor tab.
- Select a check interval (from every 1 minute to every hour).
- Choose one or more monitoring locations.
- Click Save.
Status types
- Online — Domain returned an expected HTTP status code (default: 200)
- Error — Domain is reachable but returned an unexpected status code (e.g. 403, 404)
- Offline — Domain is unreachable (timeout, DNS failure, or 5xx server error)
- Unknown — No uptime check has been configured or run yet
Consecutive failure confirmation
To avoid false alarms from temporary network issues, an incident is only created after 2 consecutive failed checks. A single failed check does not trigger an alert.
