Uptime Monitoring

Uptime monitoring checks whether your website is reachable and responding correctly. EasyTLDs sends HTTP requests to your domain at regular intervals and records the result.

How to enable

  1. Go to your domain's Settings → Uptime Monitor tab.
  2. Select a check interval (from every 1 minute to every hour).
  3. Choose one or more monitoring locations.
  4. Click Save.

Status types

  • Online — Domain returned an expected HTTP status code (default: 200)
  • Error — Domain is reachable but returned an unexpected status code (e.g. 403, 404)
  • Offline — Domain is unreachable (timeout, DNS failure, or 5xx server error)
  • Unknown — No uptime check has been configured or run yet

Consecutive failure confirmation

To avoid false alarms from temporary network issues, an incident is only created after 2 consecutive failed checks. A single failed check does not trigger an alert.
