Ping & Latency Monitoring

Ping monitoring measures TCP connection latency and packet loss from multiple geographic locations. This helps you understand how fast your server responds worldwide.

Configuration

  1. Go to Settings → Ping Monitor.
  2. Enable the ping monitor toggle.
  3. Set the check interval (1–30 minutes).
  4. Set the packet loss alert threshold (default: 50%).
  5. Select which monitoring locations to use.

Metrics

  • Average latency — typical response time in milliseconds
  • Min/Max latency — fastest and slowest responses
  • Packet loss — percentage of failed connection attempts

Note: EasyTLDs uses TCP-based ping (port 443/80) rather than ICMP, as ICMP requires root access on monitoring nodes.
